Sprint hosted its 10th annual developer conference, Oct 26-28 in Santa Clara, CA. More than 1,600 attended the event, which included a keynote speech from Sprint CEO Dan Hesse, over 50 breakout sessions, numerous coding camps and over 30 sponsors participating. Session 1: Microsoft Coding: Building Great Applications with the Windows Phone 7 Developer & Designer Tools Rob Cameron, Industry Architect Evangelist, Microsoft
In this session attendees learned how to work with Visual Studio 2010 and Expression Blend 4 to build great looking Windows Phone 7 applications. The presenter will covered the new Windows Phone 7 capabilities available in Visual Studio 2010 and then dove into an extensive tour of Expression Blend 4 for Windows Phone 7.

******************************************************************** Session 2: RIM Coding Session: Developing for the new BlackBerry® 6 platform Shadid Haque, Application Development Consultant
Many new and enhanced APIs have been introduced in BlackBerry® 6 allowing developers to easily create Super Apps for BlackBerry - a best-in-class mobile experience that users can’t live without. Eye-catching UI, deeper integration with native applications and features, updated location APIs, services and a web development platform backed by a new WebKit browser has truly taken the BlackBerry experience to a whole new level. Attendees in this coding session learned how to incorporate the new BlackBerry 6 APIs into their application, create rich web applications leveraging the WebKit browser, and what commercialization options are available including BlackBerry App World.
