What is Sprint Virtual Developer Lab?
Sprint has partnered with DeviceAnywhere to provide the Sprint Virtual Developer Lab. This innovative service offers real-time, virtual access to all Sprint devices connected to all Sprint’s networks, including CDMA and iDEN. You can interact with these handsets exactly like you would if you physically had them in the palm of your hand.
How does it benefit me as a developer?
DeviceAnywhere gives you full control over live handsets through a convenient desktop interface. Development features include a device reservation system with a multi-user environment, playback controls to quickly reproduce problems from the device as well as a feature which permits users to export .jpeg and .mov files of every pixel and every frame. All exported items (frames, framesets, and movies) can be shared with other subscribers and even non-subscribers through built-in collaborative features. DeviceAnywhere makes it possible for local and foreign content providers to access devices remotely on the Sprint CDMA and iDEN networks. Recently added features include accelerometer control, vUSB connectivity direct from your PC to the device, and you can now manage up to six devices at the same time!
