The AirLink Raven is a rugged, intelligent wireless data platform designed to enable real-time, two-way communications with remote assets. The AirLink Embedded Operating System (ALEOS) is the power inside the Raven. ALEOS has its own embedded TCP/IP stack which enables transmission of serial data from non-IP devices. ALEOS enables several functions including remote configuration and diagnostics, packet assembly and disassembly (PAD) for UDP or TCP, and telemetry protocol spoofing and conversion. The Raven is a powerful and versatile communications device. |

The AirLink PinPoint is a rugged wireless modem with a GPS receiver that provides a cost-effective platform for mobile applications. Powered by ALEOS, the AirLink Embedded Operating System (ALEOS), the PinPoint has its own embedded TCP/IP stack which enables transmission of serial data from non-IP devices via either UDP or TCP, The embedded GPS based applications allow the PinPoint to be configured to report its position by time and/or distance. The GPS time is available for precise time-stamping of important events. AirLink's optimized protocol ensures efficient use of airtime, translating to low monthly service fees. The serial port provides network connectivity for a laptop, POS terminal, PDA, or mobile data terminal. |
