iDEN Device Initiated

Motorola iDEN J2ME SDK for MIDP 2.0 devices (includes i710, i730, and i830 emulators) This SDK provides developers with J2ME MIDP 2.0 platform APIs and all iDEN OEM extensions for the i730, i710, and i830 handsets running on Sprint's iDEN network, and can be used as a baseline SDK for developing on i265 handsets and i275 handsets. Additional SDK plugins for other phones can be obtained here.

 

CDMA Network Initiated

Sprint Business Mobility Framework SDK
This SDK  allows you to use IBM's Websphere Studio Application Developer tools to write mobile applications that can obtain the location and real-time status of devices to the network. The SDK includes some sample code and a Parlay X emulator to test the application.

iDEN Network Initiated

The Wireless GPS platform allows developers and enterprise customers to initiate location requests on iDEN phones.  Currently there are no SDKs availble for this platform. A developer guide can be found in the LBS developer guide section.

Sprint Wireless Toolkit for Java 3.0 with GPS. This is a KVM-based implementation that supports MIDP 1.0/2.0, CLDC 1.0/1.1, along with additional Sprint specific APIs 1.0 and 2.0 for CDMA devices.
