Developing a great application is just the beginning - getting visibility and differentiating in a crowded marketplace can be even more daunting. Sprint's Smartphone Certification Program provides established, smartphone-focused developers the ability to quickly and easily access Sprint's application certification process, and in addition gain valuable exposure, within Sprint as well as externally.

To support an open environment that encourages the development of compelling, value-added applications for Sprint devices, and, to make the broadest array of those applications available to Sprint's customers - with Sprint's added assurance of compatibility.

Applying for membership to Sprint's Smartphone Certification Program is easy. Simply fill out the Sprint SCP In-Take Information Form and email it to us at professionaldeveloper@sprint.com. We will then review your application and send contract and payment information.  If you have any additional questions, please submit them to professionaldeveloper@sprint.com.

 
 

Sprint's Smartphone Certification Program provides the following benefits to developers:
  - Certification of applications on targeted "smart" devices
  - The ability to market certified applications as "Sprint Compatible"
  - Inclusion in Sprint's online Certified Solutions Catalog
  - Placement on Sprint's internal Sales portal


*Note: If you require access to technical development support or to Sprint's network-based Location Services platform, please review Sprint's Professional Developer Program (PDP) under Working with Us, as you will need to join that program to gain access.

The program is open to all smartphone-focused independent software developers, with a commercially available application, for a $1,000 annual membership fee.
